Hello there! My name is Farhan. Welcome to my website Farhanology.com.

This is the HTML version of my website. I will include articles and links that are related to Flash, Photoshop, Web and well everyday life. I hope these articles would be useful to the visitors of my website.

I have always been fascinated with the Information Technology (IT) field. So after my 'O' Levels, I decided to pursue an IT diploma. So after 3 years, I graduated from Temasek Polytechnic with a Diploma in Internet Computing (Broadband Multimedia). During my course of study I studied basic Java programming, html, web designing, flash, xml, php. I was particularly interested in the web designing aspect of IT. I wasn't so keen on programming.

After graduation, I started to learn how to use Photoshop. During my poly days I used Fireworks to edit images. The more I learn about Photoshop, the more I discover that it's way more powerful than fireworks in image editing.

I also love Flash! When I decided to design my first website, it just has to be fully Flash. Again I learn much of Flash through the World Wide Web. There are so many wonderful things you can do with Flash. Develop games, platforms, websites, banners etc. Unfortunately search engines aren't able to read the content of flash components. So you may have tons of content embedded in your flash but to the search engine crawlers it appears you do not have any content. So it might affect your search engine rankings. Which is why I decided to implement a html version.

Currently I am still learning so much about Flash, Photoshop and web designing. I hope to share whatever I have learnt into my website so that others can benefit as well.
